Ken’s interest in America’s electric cooperatives began at an early age, inspired by his father’s service to the industry and seeing firsthand the value of being an electric cooperative member. He is a strong believer in the cooperative business model and finds great meaning in serving co-op leaders who always strive to do the right thing for their members, team, and communities.

Today, he combines his deep appreciation for cooperatives with a strong focus on technology development, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to help cooperative leaders solve complex problems quicker and more confidently.

Ken holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from St. Mary’s University and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on energy technology at Texas A&M University.

Before dedicating his career to serving electric cooperatives, his professional experience included the design of severe-service sealing solutions for energy companies, the development of thermally shielding nanocomposite coatings, and the creation of a laboratory dedicated to elastomer product development for energy-sector clients.
